Annual Friday Evening Social Gathering

Our annual reunion weekend kicks off with a Social Gathering on Friday, September 25, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.  This is a complimentary event for members and invited guests hosted by the Denison Board of Trustees and will take place at the Oliver Denison House located at 137 Pequotsepos Road, Mystic. Parking is available in the meadow directly across from the Oliver Denison House. Wine, locally brewed beer and non-alcoholic beverages will be served along with an assortment of appetizers. Come meet other Denisons and see all the improvements at the ODH! Please RSVP by September 21, 2026 if you plan to join us, so we can coordinate the refreshments.

Annual Denison Day Reunion

Our Annual Meeting & Reunion Luncheon is Saturday, September 26, 2026. The annual meeting, two guest speaker presentations and the luncheon will take place at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center building across the road from the Denison Homestead Museum. The cost is $35/person (free for children under 18). Parking is available at the Nature Center and in the meadow below the Denison Homestead Manor House.

Sunday Church Service & Coffee Hour

Reunion attendees are invited to attend the Sunday morning services at the First Congregational Church of Stonington, also known as the Road Church, located at 903 Pequot Trail, Stonington, CT. A complimentary coffee hour follows the service. Please RSVP by September 24, 2026 if you plan to attend the service and coffee hour so volunteers can coordinate the refreshments.

Experience the beauty of an old New England Autumn! Join us for our annual Harvest Celebration at the Denison Homestead. Take a tour of the historic Pequotsepos Manor, see staff demonstrate open-hearth cooking, take a hike and explore the miles of trails through 175 acres of woodlands and meadows. Participate in a special craft activity for children and adults. Complimentary apple cider and cookies.

Admission: $8/adult, $5/senior, $5/student. FREE Admission for Children under 6, Homestead Members, and Active Military.

Annual Daffodil Festival

Come join the Denison Homestead on Saturday, April 11th for our Annual Daffodil Festival! Celebrate the season with an open-hearth cooking demonstration, guided tours of the historic Pequotsepos Manor, and a hands-on craft activity for children. Stroll the grounds, take photos of the beautiful daffodils surrounding the manor and enjoy complimentary lemonade and cookies as you soak in the beauty of spring at the Homestead. This event takes place from 11am to 3pm. Admission: $8/adult, $5/senior, $5/student. FREE Admission for active military, homestead members, and children under 6.

Open House

Celebrate Connecticut Open House Day! Visit the Denison Homestead and take a tour of the historic Pequotsepos Manor. As one of the few properties still owned by its original family, the Denison Homestead has been home to many generations of Denisons since 1654. The current 1717 manor house was restored and converted into a museum in the 1940s by famed architect J. Frederick Kelly, featuring five distinctly furnished and decorated rooms representing different historic periods in southeastern Connecticut. Admission: FREE!

Daffodil Festival

Join the Denison Homestead for their annual Daffodil Festival. Enjoy thousands of blooming daffodils on the grounds, tour the historic Pequotsepos Manor, watch staff demonstrate open-hearth cooking, and take a hike on one of the many trails through 170 acres of woodlands and meadows. Children can participate in a spring craft activity. Bouquets of daffodils and other daffodil merchandise will be available for purchase in the Homestead’s gift shop. Complimentary lemonade and cookies.

Admission $8/adults, $5/seniors, and $5/students. Free Admission for Members, Active Military and Children under 6.
